Memo Sauceda began his artistic career as a theater actor during his university years. After earning a degree in Computerized Administrative Systems, he traveled to England to pursue postgraduate acting studies at Drama Studio London.
Upon returning to Mexico, he worked in theater, dubbing (lending his voice to stars like Mel Gibson, Kevin Costner, and John Travolta), commercials, soap operas, industrials and as a TV host.
In 1997, Telemundo brought him to Miami to host the show Edición Especial, followed by Mira que TVO and Ay Caramba, winning 3 Emmys during his time with the network.
Memo has also produced, acted in, written, and directed content for Mundo Hispánico, where several of his videos have surpassed a million views.
In 2000, he became a member of the SAG and AFTRA unions, later serving on the AFTRA board and as President of the AFTRA Miami local for two consecutive terms. When SAG and AFTRA merged, he became co-President of the Miami local of SAG-AFTRA. He remains actively involved in various national committees.
Memo has been a speaker at SAG-AFTRA, VO Atlanta, One Voice, WOVOCon, the Viva Voz Festival, and Voice Masters. He is currently the treasurer of WOVO (World Voices Organization) and the president of LAVA (Latin Association of Voice Actors), demonstrating his commitment to supporting his peers.
